Customer experience is the sum of all experiences a customer has with a supplier of goods or services, over the duration of their relationship with that supplier. It can also be used to mean an individual experience over one transaction; the distinction is usually clear in context.
Why is Customer experience important for Social Media?
When done right you will convert your prospects into customers, and your customers into you advocates.
Take the opportunity to empower your customers, respect them, thank them, reflect any changes that is done based on their suggestions.
With Social Media your customers has more tools available to control others faster than ever.
Creating an Outpost Toolbox
On the Internet your blog or website is your home base.
You will create several different outpost that will direct customers back to your blog or website.
For each of these outposts you will have to create a toolbox that represent your strategy for this outpost.
The various Social Networks you participate in is your outposts. Most of them has some RSS options available. I recommend that you start subscribe to all your various outposts that has this option available.
I use Google Reader for my outpost subscriptions.
